*To receive the price listed, a student’s complete application (including parent/student information, grade report and student essay), as well as full payment, must be received by the dates shown above. A $200 late fee is applied to applications completed after May 15.

Applications

U.S. Academy Locations:

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Complete applications include:
    • Student/Parent information via the online application process
    • Student Essay
    • Recent Student Grade Report
    • $395 Deposit
  • This completed application will be reviewed within three (3) business days. Notification of Admission status will be sent to your Primary Contact Email. 

Deposit and Tuition

All Locations:

  • Deposit: A $395 deposit is due with your Application. Paying this fee does not guarantee admission to the program (please see below for details on our Cancellation Policy).

U.S. Academy Locations:

  • Tuition:  Covers the full cost of instruction, activities, field trips, food, lodging and shuttle service to and from local airports. Tuition must be paid in full by the dates listed in order to obtain the savings as outlined here. 

International Locations:

  • Tuition: The total cost includes tuition, room and board, instructional materials, and field trips; does not include travel costs.
  • All fees must be paid no later than March 1 for International Academies.

Financial Aid

  • The Academy offers limited need-based financial aid at our  Green Mountain College location to families making less than $125,000. Funds are awarded on a rolling basis (as requests are received). 
  • Please apply by October 1, 2014 as financial aid is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policy

U.S. Academy Locations:

  • If a student is denied acceptance into an Academy program, the entire deposit fee will be refunded.
  • If a student pays the deposit and is accepted to an Academy, but voluntarily declines to enroll, written notice of the cancellation must be received by the following dates and refunds are as follows: There will be no refunds of any kind after April 30, 2015. 
  • There will be no refunds for students who voluntarily withdraw for any reason after the Academy has started.
  • If a student is dismissed from the Academy for any reason, no refund will be provided and the cost of transportation home within 24 hours will be the parents’ financial obligation. There will be no refund for a student who is asked to leave the Academy for the use of tobacco, drugs or alcohol, non-notification of a serious medical condition, or violating the rules of the program, which is determined at the sole discretion of the Academy staff. 

Cancellation Policy

Abroad Locations:

  • If a student is denied acceptance into an International/Abroad Academy, the deposit fee will be refunded.
  • If a student is accepted into the program, and voluntarily declines to enroll, written notice of cancellation must be received before February 15, 2015 to receive a full refund of all payments, less a $75 application processing fee.
  • After March 1, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • By March 15, 50% of all program fees must be paid. After March 15, 50% of all program fees are required immediately upon acceptance to the program. There will be no refunds of any kind after March 15, 2014.
  • There will be no refunds for the Abroad/International Academies after April 30, 2015. 
  • There will be no refunds for students who voluntarily withdraw for any reason after the Academy has started.
