* The Comillas, Spain Academy is now full. Students interested in studying Spanish are encouraged to apply to our U.S. Academy locations — Green Mountain College, Swarthmore College or Pomona College. Applications should be submitted immediately to be considered for enrollment.

Applications
U.S. Academy Locations:

  • Applications: Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until May 1, 2014. Applications include completed application, student essay, recent grade report and a $350 deposit. This completed application will be reviewed within three (3) business days. Notification of admission status will be sent to your Primary Contact Email. 
  • Enrollment: Your enrollment must be completed no later than May 15, 2014 (health forms, full tuition payment, residential life form, travel information form).

Deposit and Tuition
All Locations:

  • Deposit: A $350 deposit is due with your Application. Paying this fee does not guarantee admission to the program (please see below for details on our Cancellation Policy).

U.S. Academy Locations:

  • Tuition: Covers the full cost of instruction, required textbooks, activities, shuttle service to and from local airports and field trips.   The first half of tuition is due no later than April 1, 2014 and final payment due no later than May 15, 2014. 

Beijing & Spain Locations:

  • The total cost includes tuition, room and board, instructional materials, and field trips; does not include travel costs.
  • 50% of all program fees must be paid no later than March 15.
  • After March 15, 50% of all program fees are required immediately upon acceptance to the program. 

Financial Aid Grants

  • The Academy offers limited need-based financial aid at our  Green Mountain College location, and students wishing to study Arabic at our Pomona College location, to families making less than $125,000. Funds are awarded on a rolling basis (as requests are received). Financial aid grants have been awarded for summer 2014. Please apply early next year as financial aid is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Qatar Foundation International Scholarships: The Academy has partnered with Qatar Foundation International to provide full scholarships to deserving students for this summer’s Arabic Academy. Read More  Learn How to Apply

Cancellation Policy

U.S. Academy Locations:

  • If a student is denied acceptance into an Academy program, the entire deposit fee will be refunded.
  • If a student voluntarily declines to enroll, written notice of cancellation must be received before March 1, 2014, to receive a full refund of all payments, less a $75 application processing fee.
  • After March 1, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Between April 1 and May 15, 50% of your tuition balance is required to be paid upon acceptance and is non-refundable. Only tuition paid above and beyond 50% is refundable between April 1 and May 15. There will be no refunds of any kind after May 15, 2014. 

Beijing & Spain Locations:

  • If a student is declined acceptance into the Beijing or Spain Academy, the deposit fee will be refunded.
