The Chinese academy wrapped up the first week with another exciting day at Green Mountain College. Many students rose before 6am to go for a morning jog with an RA around campus, downtown Poultney, and the surrounding area. After a filling breakfast, students gathered for a morning assembly in which the RAs led a lively and entertaining skit about the theme of the day: emotions and feelings. This theme was woven through each and every activity of the day. From the classroom, to Tai Chi lessons, to soccer, to bracelet making, every moment was an opportunity for students to learn how to express their feelings in Chinese.
